Accent Pears

You know those accent balls people have in bowls around their homes? Upon their mantel, on their toilet tank, amongst the shelving of books... they're everywhere. Well, here's a little something that you can add to yours to give it a bit of fruit-flare (meanwhile, giving a bit of new life to those old, burnt out light bulbs)!

Yeah, that's what we're going for.

The supplies: hot glue, twine, old light bulb, and yes, that's a tiny piece of a stick.

Glue the stick to the base of the light bulb.

Start by gluing the twine to the bulb, and then wind it.

Put your glue in lines down the length of the bulb.. Do at least four of these around it while you wrap.

You're probably cursing my name right now due to the massive amount of burning flesh on your fingertips.

About now, you'll understand why fancy famous people hire sweatshop workers to do these kinds of things.

And shazam! You have a pear. Please disregard the large amount of hot glue gobs around mine; I tend to go a bit overboard. But, that's nothing another wrap-around of twine can't cover. Enjoy!
